What's new in the report

The UK Unisys Security Index provides interesting insights into the UK public’s concerns and show that consumer fear is on the rise. Over half of the UK public are worried about meeting their financial obligations and 87% are nervous about falling victim to ID theft. Following the failed Christmas Day bomb, people are more prepared than ever to sacrifice privacy and convenience for security - 90% of respondents would readily use a full electronic body scanner at airports. These findings characterise the mood of the country and suggest that airport security, fighting ID crime and financial fear should be a priority for a new government.
